Description du professeur particulier
I’m an American TEFL-certified English teacher and creative professional based in Paris. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York, and after several years working in creative industries, I transitioned into language education and academic support. I currently tutor a range of students in English fluency, writing, business communication, and homework help.
I moved to Paris to continue my French studies and to build a long-term career in education and creative work. I love working with students, helping them build confidence, find clarity, and develop strong communication and study skills. My approach is warm, structured, and highly adaptable to each learner’s personality and needs.
My teaching method focuses on clarity, confidence, and steady progress. I begin by understanding the student’s goals, current level, and learning style. From there, I create individualized lessons that combine clear explanations, guided practice, and active learning.
For homework help, I break tasks down into manageable steps, teach students how to organize their work, and encourage independent thinking. For English tutoring, I use conversation, reading, writing exercises, and real-world examples to make learning engaging and practical.
I value patience, encouragement, and communication — I want each student to feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress.
I’m passionate about storytelling, writing, film, and the arts. I love reading, exploring Paris, and learning languages — especially French. Creativity is a big part of my life, and I often bring it into my teaching through games, discussions, and activities tailored to students’ interests.
My values as a tutor are kindness, reliability, and helping students feel confident in themselves. I believe learning works best when students feel encouraged, understood, and safe to make mistakes.
